ABOUT THE SYMPOSIUM
This was the second SOCS symposium. The purpose of the symposium was to present updates regarding diseases and issues pertaining to patients with skin of color. These updates were given by experts in the field. In addition, there will be mini-presentations by residents and students after which a monetary prize was awarded for the best presentation. This event also provided an opportunity for dermatologists around the world who have an interest in caring for patients with skin of color to meet, network, and learn from each other.
